Terrance Flynn

Terrance Flynn is currently working on a memoir entitled “Dying to Meet You.” He was awarded the 2014 Thomas A. Wilhelmus Editors’ Award for Nonfiction, the 2014 Promise Award by the Sustainable Arts Foundation, a Stanford Calderwood fellowship at the MacDowell Colony, and a 2013 PEN Center USA Emerging Voices fellowship. He’s been published in Slice magazine and Sycamore Review and his work is forthcoming in Southern Indiana Review. His essay, "Having Faith," earned him a notable essay citation in Best American Essays 2016. He is a licensed psychotherapist who currently lives in Claremont, California, with his partner and their four-year-old.
