Russell Tomlin

Russell Tomlin earned his MFA at Mills College in Oakland. He served as a Peace Corps volunteer from 1981 to 1983 in Togo, West Africa, where he taught English as a foreign language. He is currently working on a collection of short stories.

Togo, West Africa, is a 335-mile-long, 70-mile-wide chip of country wedged between Ghana and Benin. Hugging the prime meridian at 8 degrees above the equator, Togo operates under Greenwich Mean Time.
