Rigoberto Gonzalez

Rigoberto Gonzalez has published three books: So Often the Pitcher Goes to Water Until It Breaks, a selection of the National Poetry Series; Soledad Sigh-Sighs, a book for children; and Crossing Vines, a novel. The recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship and writing residencies to Spain, Brazil, Costa Rica and Scotland, he has four titles forthcoming: Antonio's Card, a children's book; Butterfly Boy, a memoir; Other Fugitives and Other Strangers, poems; and a creative nonfiction book about Chicano author Tomas Rivera. He lives in New York and writes a book review column for the El Paso Times.
