Marilyn Moriarty

Marilyn Moriarty won the 2014 Faulkner Society’s Gold Medal for Best Essay. Her writing has been published in the Antioch Review, the Kenyon Review, Nimrod, Quarterly West, and others, and she is the author of Moses Unchained (winner of the AWP Prize for Creative Nonfiction) and a textbook, Writing Science through Critical Thinking. She is a professor of literature at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia.
