Jennifer L. Hollis is the project director of Harps of Comfort, an organization that provides live, remote music for patients with COVID-19 and other serious illness. She is the author of Music at the End of Life: Easing the Pain and Preparing the Passage (Praeger, 2010), and her essays and articles have appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Harvard Review, and other publications. She lives outside Boston with her family.
