David Bradley

David Bradley earned a BA in creative writing at the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in United States studies at the University of London. He is the author of two novels, South Street and The Chaneysville Incident, which was awarded the 1982 PEN/Faulkner Award. His nonfiction has appeared in Esquire, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The New Yorker, and The Nation. He is the recipient of fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. He is currently an associate professor of fiction in the creative writing program of the University of Oregon.
