Karl Taro Greenfield

Karl Taro Greenfield has written three books about Asia, including Speed Tribes and last year's China Syndrome: The True Story of the 21st Century's First Great Epidemic, and was for a few years the editor of Time Asia. He has been a writer for Time and Sports Illustrated and his work appears regularly in Details and Conde Nast Traveler; his writing has been previously anthologized in The Best American Sportswriting and The Best American Non-Required Reading series. Currently working on a memoir about his autistic brother, Karl lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters.
