Danielle Ofri
Danielle Ofri is a physician at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. She is best known for Singular Intimacies: Becoming a Doctor at Bellevue, the classic story of becoming a doctor by immersion at the oldest public hospital in the country—and perhaps the most legendary. Ofri is also editor-in-chief of the Bellevue Literary Review, the first literary journal to arise from a medical center.
