  • What is the class size of a Live Online Workshop?

    The class size is limited to 12 students so that all students receive personal attention.

  • What are the technical requirements for a Live Online Workshop?

    The only technical requirement for a Live Online Workshop is a computer or laptop, a webcam (highly encouraged), and a good internet connection.

  • Do I need to be onscreen during the Live Online Workshop?

    Unlike our asynchronous online courses where participation times are flexible, our Live Online Workshops replicate, as much as possible, the experience of being together in a classroom with a teacher and fellow students. For this reason, it is expected that all participants be onscreen during class.

  • How will I find my Live Online Workshop’s virtual classroom?

    Each week, you’ll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting via Zoom. The link will be the same each week. Really, it’s that simple!

  • What is the format of the Live Online Workshop?

    Class Format:

    Our Live Online Workshops replicate, as much as possible, the experience of being together in a classroom with a teacher and fellow students.

    Just like an in-person classroom, our Live Online Workshops take place in real-time, meeting at the same time each week (all times listed are for Eastern Time.). The teacher and students will meet via videoconference using the simple-to-use Zoom software.
