Robin Black's work has appeared in numerous publications including Alaska Quarterly Review, Colorado Review and The Southern Review. A MacDowell Colony Fellow, she has twice received special mention in the Pushcart Prize Volume and won first prize for a short story in the 2005 Pirate's Alley Faulkner/Wisdom Writing Competition.
