Kate Small’s work has appeared in Nimrod, Boston Review, Madison Review, Chelsea, Other Voices and “Best New American Voices,” a Harcourt anthology edited by Tobias Wolff. She is the recipient of the Lorian Hemingway Prize, the Vogelstein Foundation Grant and National Endowment for the Arts fellowship. She resides in Portland, Ore.
