Elizabeth Rush is the author of Rising: The Unsettling of the American Shore (Milkweed Editions, 2018), winner of The National Outdoor Book Award, a Chicago Tribune Top Ten Book of 2018, and a Guardian, Publishers Weekly, and Library Journal Best Book of 2018. She is the 2019 Antarctic Artist and Writer in Residence for the National Science Foundation.
